What is Club J?

Club J, the Mandel JCC Afterschool Program, offers your child a variety of social, recreational, cultural and fun activities in a safe and nurturing environment. Club J provides an after-school program for kindergarten through grade 5 children. They enjoy a period of free play upon arrival, followed by a snack and supervised homework time. The rest of the afternoon is filled with specialist-led activities. Our program builds self-confidence in children by helping them to expand their abilities and discover how their actions impact their relationships with others. Parents appreciate the fun-loving and highly trained staff and kids benefit from a camp-type atmosphere where kids can be kids!

Club J offers more than the typical after-school programs, including:

Highly trained staff, many of whom make connections with the Club J kids during summer camp
Time for intellectual and academic pursuits, offering homework help and special interest activities that expand upon school activities
Opportunity to make new friends through engaging activities

Sample Schedule

2:30 - 3:00 pm: Arrival
3:00 - 3:30 pm: Snack and Homework
3:35 - 4:05 pm: Playground/Swim
4:10 - 4:50 pm: Sports
4:55 - 5:35 pm: Cooking/Art/STEM
5:40 - 6:00 pm: Special Activity

Club J participants swim bi-weekly and also enjoy a variety of special activities, as well as ending the week with Shabbat.

Tuition

With Transportation (Monday - Friday, 2:00 - 6:00 pm)
$382 per Person (Monthly)

Without Transportation (Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm)
$321 per Person (Monthly)
$321 per Ben Gamla Student (Monthly; $32 per student monthly add-on for early release Tuesdays)

Terms and Conditions

All families will pay a $75 non-refundable registration fee per participant.
All families who register before the start of the program will pay a $150 non-refundable deposit that is deducted from 1st month payment.

Edward & Thelma Glantz Early Childhood Learning Center

Registration is open for the 2022/2023 school year. We offer full-time programs for infants through VPK. With supervised homework, Judaic activities, swimming, sports, cooking, art, science, and more, your kids will be begging to stay after school!

JSwim

Our Aquatics program features a 25-yard, six-lane lap pool and so much more! We strive to be the leader in South Florida's aquatics programming. Our goal is to make every student water-safe, as well as increase their self-confidence and independence through swimming. Come make a splash with us today!

Gift Shop

Shop for your Jewish traditions from the comfort of your home! We have partnered with the Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History Museum Store and you can help support the Mandel JCC by shopping for everything you need for special holidays. In addition to their great year-round inventory, you can even create a Wedding Registry! All proceeds large or small, will make a difference in supporting the Mandel JCC of the Palm Beaches.
